Hans Rausing was from 1950 CEO and later chairman of the family company Tetra Pak, founded by parents Ruben Rausing and Elisabeth Varenius. He sold his part of the company in 1995, which was then renamed Tetra Laval after the purchase of Alfa Laval two years earlier, to his brother Gad Rausing.
